Descrizione del dispositivo occluder ASD
MemoriaTM ASD Occluder è un dispositivo a doppio disco autoespandibile realizzato in rete di nitinolo, boccola in acciaio inossidabile, linea di sutura e membrana in tessuto di poliestere. Il dispositivo ha un disco atriale sinistro (LA), un disco atriale destro (RA) e una vita corta corrispondente alle dimensioni del difetto del setto atriale (ASD). La membrana del tessuto del poliestere è cucita saldamente all'interno di ogni disco e la vita dalla linea della sutura per assicurare l'occlusione ottimale. Il dispositivo è visibile sotto i raggi X.
Indicazioni per l'uso del dispositivo occluder ASD
I pazienti eleggibili per la chiusura dell'ASD mostrano evidenza ecocardiografica di difetto del setto atriale dell'ostio secundum e evidenza clinica di sovraccarico del volume ventricolare destro (es., 1.5:1 grado di shunt da sinistra a destra o allargamento RV).
